vis|ability and Wireless casting devices

Wireless casting devices allow users to share their screen from laptops or mobile devices without connecting cables. In environments using Activu vis|ability, these devices can be integrated by capturing their HDMI output through a Display Node input capture.

Once captured, the signal becomes a standard vis|ability Source, allowing operators to display it anywhere, for instance on a Display wall, just like any other content source.

1. A user shares their screen through a wireless casting device (e.g., Barco ClickShare or similar solutions).
2. The casting device outputs the shared content through HDMI.
3. The HDMI output is connected to a Display Node capture input.
4. vis|ability detects this input and adds it as a source in the system.

Operators can then launch and place this source anywhere on the video wall.

Cable-free presentations
Users can present quickly without connecting their device directly to the system.

Flexible display control
Operators can resize, position, or combine the presentation with other sources such as dashboards, maps, or video feeds.

Any device with an HDMI output can be captured, including:

By capturing the HDMI output of wireless casting devices on a Display Node, vis|ability allows wireless presentations to be treated as standard sources. This enables easy screen sharing while maintaining full control over how content is displayed on the video wall.
