# vis|ability and NERC-CIP Environments

**Overview**

Electric utilities operate within one of the most highly regulated cybersecurity environments in critical infrastructure. The **North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC-CIP)** standards establish mandatory cybersecurity requirements for systems that support the reliable operation of the Bulk Electric System (BES).

The **vis|ability platform is designed to operate within NERC-CIP regulated environments**, enabling utilities to maintain operational awareness while supporting the cybersecurity practices required for systems operating on regulated assets.

**Deployment on NERC-CIP Regulated Assets**
