The vis|ability platform integrates various Video Management Systems (VMS), offering seamless video monitoring and control. vis|ability currently integrates with various VMS vendors at the SDK/API level. These integrations are product and version dependent and need to be made known to the vis|ability prior to onsite implementation. See the current list of supported vendors Below.

It allows Users to view, share, and manage live video feeds from multiple VMS sources, including PTZ control--allowing for one seamless operating picture. See Below:

vis|ability supports a wide range of video stream protocols commonly used in VMS environments, including:

• RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) – For direct streaming of IP camera feeds or recorder outputs

• HTTP/HTTPS-based Streams – Including browser-based and web-embedded video sources

• ONVIF-Compliant Sources – Where applicable, for standardization across supported devices

• MJPEG/H.264/H.265 Codecs – For compatibility with most modern surveillance systems

• Web-Based Interfaces – Enables integration of VMS web clients directly into a vis|ability Display or Space

This protocol flexibility ensures that vis|ability can accommodate a wide range of VMS platforms—whether deployed on-premises, virtualized, or cloud-hosted.

Once video sources are available in visability, operators gain the ability to:

• Drag and drop live camera feeds into Display Walls or Spaces

• Resize, reposition, and layer video feeds alongside other sources such as maps, dashboards, or SOPs

• Interact with embedded VMS clients (when supported), including camera switching, playback review, and PTZ control

• Save Layouts with video sources as part of standard operating procedures

• Monitor multiple camera views simultaneously across different operational zones or events
