POC (Proof of Concept) Program
The proof is in the use of vis|ability
Overview
The vis|ability Proof of Concept (PoC) Program is designed so clients can experience the real-world value and performance of vis|ability, in their actual environment.
It is a program we encourage because it gives clients an opportunity to evaluate the software’s claimed capabilities in a real world setting, to validate technical compatibility with their environment, and to explore how the system can support critical workflows - both the known, stated ones and those they can imagine once they get to use the software —before making major committments.
It is the most effecient and effective way for us to earn trust and earn business, together.
Program Objectives
-
Demonstrate Key Functionality
Experience the core features of vis|ability, including real-time content sharing, control room visualization, source management, and collaboration across users, displays, and spaces. -
Validate Technical Integration
Confirm compatibility with the existing network, hardware, and security infrastructure, and access to sources like IP cameras, desktops, VMS systems, and web dashboards. -
Showcase Operational Impact
See how vis|ability can streamline decision-making, enhance situational awareness, and reduce response times across operations. -
Receive User Feedback
Enable client interaction with the system and provide direct feedback on usability, effectiveness, and workflow alignment.
What's Included
-
Software Licensing
Access to vis|ability’s core software components, including the Desktop Client, Hub, and select integrations. - Hardware**
Hardware can be provided by the vis|ability staff or be Owner Furnished. -
System Design & Setup Support
Assistance in configuring a tailored POC system with sample sources, display layouts, and workflows relevant to the client's use case. -
Training & Guidance
Hands-on user orientation and guidance for system administrators and end users to ensure a smooth experience throughout the POC. -
Evaluation Criteria
Clear success criteria defined at the start—aligned with the client’s operational goals, such as ease of use, speed of content delivery, and collaboration efficiency. -
Technical Support
Dedicated support throughout the POC period to optimize the installation and performance, and answer technical questions.
Typical Duration
The PoC program typically runs for 30 to 60 days, allowing enough time to fully explore features, gather stakeholder feedback, and assess scalability potential. Additional time can be added if necessary.
Who Should Participate?
-
Users such as control room operators
-
IT and Network Administrators
-
Security or Operations Managers
-
Executive stakeholders
What's the Outcome?
At the conclusion of the PoC, the client will have a clear and unvarnished appreciation for how vis|ability meets their operational and technical requirements, and fits into their IT environment.
If the client approves of vis|ability, we work with our partner in the POC to make it the basis of design, provide specifications and any other material or assistance that may be needed.
