vis|ability - End of Life, End of Support
The vis|ability software platform is under active development, as it has been since 2001, with new version releases planned to provide enhancements, updates, and patches.
These new releases are provided to all customers under an active Software Maintenance agreement. As the provider of this software for nearly three decades, through this policy we have helped our customers maintain long-term supportability and avoid end of life (EOL), end of support (EOS) risks associated with less established software products and hardware alternatives.
It is also important to note that EOL and EOS risks are commonly associated with specific hardware models or server products. An additional benefit of vis|ability is that it has always run on open, common off the shelf computer hardware and is thus not bound to a specific server model or hardware product. Therefore, the system can be migrated in the future to new compatible hardware if required.
This combination of being a stable, software based solution of a globally deployed platform, plus running on open hardware, provides the greatest assurance of long-term value.
